The Finest SIG Kadet Senior Ever - Fly Electric or Glow!

The legendary SIG Kadet Senior is widely-recognized as the finest R/C trainer plane ever made. Just wait until the hobby gets a hold of the redesigned SIG Kadet Senior SPORT! The new Sport is a taildragger airplane that features strong, formed aluminum landing gear.

The SIG Kadet Senior is one of the most versatile R/C model airplanes ever designed!  The success of the Kadet Senior is not only due to its wonderful trainer plane characteristics, but also to its versatility and relaxing flight characteristics. It is one of the few trainer planes that will never be outgrown as the pilots’ skill level grows. Originally intended for training, its light wing loading, inherent stability and slow flight speed combine to give the student pilot time to think, react, and learn.  However, over the years the Kadet Senior has also proven to be a multi-purpose workhorse – float-flying, banner or glider tow, airborne video, parachute drop, night flying with add-on lights, and just about any other load-carrying task is easy for the giant Kadet Senior Sport.  The huge 2-piece wing provides massive lifting ability, even when flown using .40-.46 size engines, or equivalent electric power. It is perfect for R/C pilots of any skill level who want a relaxing flying session - doing leisurely touch and go landings at the speed of a walk on a beautiful calm summer evening.

This latest rendition of the venerable Kadet Senior Sport has been "sporterized" with taildragger landing gear and wheel pants.  Converting Kadet Seniors into tail dragger planes has been the #1 modification for years. Now, it is available to everyone in a model that is sure to satisfy the radio control airplane hobby.

The Kadet Senior Sport is the latest SIG plane in their SIGnature “EG” Series – giving everyone the flexibility to fly electric or glow without any modifications. You will only find this innovation in SIG R/C aircraft.

The Kadet Senior Sport ARF features traditional all-wood construction and has the kind of beauty and performance that only balsa models can offer!  The SIG Kadet Senior Sport will remain a favorite in your RC hangar for years to come! Fly A Legend - Fly A KADET SENIOR SPORT!

When I received my plane I was so excited to get started. Everything was AAAAA+++++!!! Had the plane put together in 3 nights. Made it into a float plane and was the best ever on water. My son Alex was the first at the controls and was the first time on water. He had so much fun with it he would not let me fly!!!You will be very impressed in this plane no questions asked!!!! Way to go SIG!!!!

My Kadet Senior Sport
Got my Kadet Senior Sport ARF through Tailwinds R/C Hobby in Cape Girardeau, Missouri a year ago last February. It made it's first flight on March 16th of this year. It would assemble and fly MUCH quicker, but I got pulled off to work on other projects, and I also wanted to modify it to make the tail removable, so that stretched out the time to finish it. I powered in with an O.S.61FX to allow it to tow flags and other such utilitarian stuff. The Senior Sport's craftsmanship IS excellent and it's flying characteristics are exactly what you'd expect from any of the Kadet series. The ailerons are quite large, and give immediate roll response, but the plane will also fly all day long with just rudder and elevator. Slow flight is REALLY SLOW, and would allow the big trainer to plop into about any decent-sized landing area. All told, I think it's a great kit and value for the money, and I'm looking forward to really putting it to work this summer! Thank You, Kim

Bob
Very nice plane and flies nicely. My one concern is that the wing tabs that slide into the fuselage sure don't go in there very far. Just hope the wing stays in place during flight. Otherwise, great plane and is as advertised.

Looks great.
I just wanted to say that although I haven't had the chance to fly it yet as I'm waiting on some servos, this plane went together extremely easy! I've built tons of arf's and this was by far the easiest! Looks fantastic and should be an awesome flyer.
